Introductory Literature
For literature, I think if you really understand the story and do some research about it you can ace it easily. Study all the literacy devices, relate it to real life incident and do a lot of practice. Literature is the only subject that I'm satisfied with the results in mid-term exam. Well, it's not that amazing but above my expectation at least.
I really like reading the short stories. It's full with suspense, ironic and adventurous tales to be told. But the last story was a bit hard to digest. I don't even understand what was the story was all about. I hope I can wrap it up before the finals. Also, I was intrigued with our novel, Animal Farm. It's about an animal revolution to achieve freedom from humans but in the end it totally backfired. The whole story was a total chaos as there have been countless wars between humans and animal and also animal versus animals. Many characters died as the pages unfold. This characters in the story also symbolizes real life people in the Russian revolution. After having a presentation about Animal Farm, I can quite understand how the story goes but I'm not ready when it comes to relating it the real life story. I still have so much to study after all.
Overall, I really like learning and studying about literature because not only does it gives me the time to read something interesting but also helps me to instill my love for reading even more. But somehow I feel a little sad because they said that we won't be learning bout literature for the next semester, but instead drama. hearing from the name itself, I hope that we don't have to act or anything. I'm not that brave to perform in front of others.
