Social Study Skills

Where do I even begin? You know, before studying this subject, I didn't know what was the purpose of this subject. I assume that it'll just end up being like Civic subject or something but technically I was wrong. This subject is really fun and I got to experience and learn many things. For instance, building a website, how to manage an event, improve my IT skills and so on.

Since I started going to university, I have less time spending on the things I love the most like drawing, doodling, coloring, and so on. Luckily, with this subject, it helps me to release some stress by doing fun activities and make use of my imagination and creativity. We have this assignment where we would post something on our social media platforms every week, it's called Social Media Diary. To be honest, I really like the part we can let our creativity run free but I don't really like showing my face on social media that much, let alone making a video. But despite that, it has shown me to be more open to myself and has helped me improve better on my speaking skills, even if it's just a little. Also, I'm so sorry Miss Shanaa because I'd always make the video on Friday and sometimes did it last minute but thank god I'm very lucky and I'm satisfied with my marks.

Next, the second assignment is pre-event management. To be frank, I really didn't enjoy doing this because I was the group leader and I was suppose to take the lead but I'm not that good at giving orders to people. I can only take orders from others and not the way around. Seriously, I feel helpless at that time, I didn't know what to do and how to guide them. In the end, I let one of my teammates take the lead. To my relieve, I was really grateful that she was a very organize person, she knows what she's doing and when she wants it. Totally the opposite of me. There's this one time, I felt really guilty because I didn't came up with an idea. I think I've become a burden to my teammate :(. I cried a little but then I tried to reflect myself and tried my best to help with anything I can. In the end, it was smooth sailing and we finished it just in time too. I think for me, it wasn't a good experience but I'll try to improve myself in the future more so that I can help a lot and try to be a better teammate in the future.

Nevertheless, it was never a dull moment when I study this subject. I had fun doing things I've never done before, and really enjoyed every second of the lesson :). Thank you Miss Shanaa and my classmate for making this first semester a wholesome one! I'm really grateful for you guys, you teach me so much.
